After an iconic video featuring someone crushing items with a hydraulic press made headlines last year, The Hydraulic Press Channel has become a phenomenon. BGR interviewed Finnish couple Lauri and Anni Vuohensilta behind it all for insight.

These videos show Lauri destroying objects while providing humorous commentary in her trademark Captain Obvious style, including Barbie dolls, secondhand clothing mannequins named Johnny, and clay animals.

1. It’s too violent
