Hydraulic die forming serves a useful function by filling a gap between industrial blanking processes and hand sawing; producing shapes which would otherwise be very hard to cut by hand sawing techniques; using simple shearing die punch out identical parts faster; faster than cutting them by sawing or industrial blanking processes alone!

Start by starting with a piece of annealed 26-gauge copper that is at least 3/8 of an inch larger in all dimensions than the desired shape you wish to create, in order for it to be drawn down into your female die.
