As the first step of building a press brake, you must first determine its size and type. Standard-height tools allow you to quickly add off-the-shelf pieces without needing to adjust the machine; this way you can get bending as soon as your press brake arrives - saving both time and money while optimizing production!
Materials
Your first priority should be finding a press brake designed specifically to meet the work you intend on undertaking. A metal fabricator needs to identify what they intend on using their press brake for before purchasing one that fits.
Know the type of metal that you will be working with as each requires different amounts of force to bend it. In addition, knowing the flange lengths in your finished parts can determine which V-die widths you require for successful production.

Design
